an old guy i knew some years ago was an ex london bus driver.
got pissed in camden town one night, nicked a bus, and drove it to enfield before they managed to stop him.

Man charged with stealing Thames Clipper following miles-long police chase | The Independent | Independent

A man jumped a security gate and took a river bus before leading specialist marine police on a miles-long chase down the River Thames, officers said.

Police vessels rushed to intercept the Thames Clipper boat after it was snatched from Trinity Buoy Wharf, in Poplar, east London, at about 3am on Saturday.

(Not sure why Uber is mentioned in the fecking story.)
