This won't get anywhere meanwhile you are paying someone who is merely profiting from the false hope they are offering you.
So yep it's a scam but you are desperate to believe it isn't one so you cling to it regardless.

I thought I couldn’t afford a tax advisor. I still don’t really know what to do, but I posted this to try and help people like me who are worried and don’t have a clue.
In the past really kind people have replied or privately messaged me from here and offered me support and help with letters from HMRC. I signed up to the Stax forums and never had a bad word or felt scared to post there or here. Now I still read stuff but worry about posting. I eventually post something to try and help people and I get accused of being in on a scam. What is wrong with you people - isn’t anyone genuine and not out for themselves? I’ve absolutely nothing to gain from posting this. People can make their own minds up but this forum is certainly not the welcoming place it was a few years ago.

Sounds like you are in on this scam to meOriginally posted by pt101 View PostI’ve signed up now. It’s not a scam, it’s a new legal challenge to try and stop the loan charge. It was only launched a couple of weeks ago - obvs needs to move fast to get funds in as there isn’t much time before the implementation of the loan charge. I think the idea was that the more people who contributed, the cheaper it would be for everyone as there are many people who genuinely can’t afford to contribute a lot - but guess it’s not being helped by people suggesting it’s not legit.
Here is a link to the website. Please note that you need to sign up and then send in a copy of your passport, a HMRC letter and a utility bill as evidence in order to be able to access the secure area and read FAQ etc (similar to what we had to do for the Stax forums some time ago). However if you just want to donate then you can do this without signing up in case friends and family want to contribute. Website is below if anyone wants a look.

That’s right - although I’m a she ?Originally posted by eek View PostNope he appears to be a member of an IQ or similar scheme - so income paid out as loans with HMRC seeking the tax that was avoided and Felicitas trying to reclaim (at least some of) the money "lent" back

Are you a sockie?Originally posted by pt101 View PostWhat??? Certainly not!! I’ve been registered on here for years now but I mainly read the posts rather than post because I don’t know a lot about anything really. I guess I was hoping something could stop this loan charge from kicking in because it’s getting pretty close now. What with this and the Felicitas stuff it’s getting a bit much tbh.
