I know for a fact it’s illegal to name a child “Adolf Hitler” in Germany.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostSo do you "know for a fact that it isn’t permitted to name a child Adolf in Germany"?
The Squad's decision is final, Gricey-boy.
And you’ve even got my gender wrong.

I think one has to consider the psychological effects on the child. I know for a fact that it isn’t permitted to name a child Adolf in Germany.
It all reminds me of an incident that a lay preacher at my local Kirk related to me a few years ago. The priest was preparing for the christening of a baby boy with his parents. When he enquired as to what they were going to name the child his heart sank as he sensed an awkward dilemma.
They were going to name him Peter Ian. The family name was Gordon.
Fortunately they hadn’t seen the problem with this and immediately changed the Christian name to Brian once it had been drawn to their attention.
Well, they were from Mallaig. You’ve got to laugh

You're not so great at spelling and punctuation yourself.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostThey are probably relating to Lucifers first incarnation as one of the most beautiful angels and leader of the choir of angels etc etc... which people tend to forget. Typical humans just see the bad in everything huh...
To be fair, I'd rather someone called Lucifer than naming your kid some fancy mis-spelt name because it's cool. My other have has three Isobels in her class all spelt differently. Having name that you have to spell out everytime someone takes it is a right pain in the ******* arse and wouldn't bestow it on anyone. It's certainly not cool for the kid for the rest of it's life.
