It is not a babushka's tale. Vitamin D naturally gets absorbed by the body during the day. It needs fat to transport it through the body. If taken at night in may interrupt sleep.Originally posted by AtW View PostAnd if you take it close to midnight it will turn you into a pumpkin?Last edited by Paddy; 18 June 2020, 16:03.

According to the slaver its probably good for you!
UK public health bodies reviewing vitamin D's effects on coronavirus | World news | The Guardian
PHE has acknowledged reports about vitamin D potentially reducing the risk of coronavirus but said there was not enough evidence to support this.It has since April recommended all people take 10 micrograms of vitamin D a day to maintain bone and muscle health owing to concerns they may not be getting enough sunlight, particularly during the lockdown.
UK vitamin D advice is focused on musculoskeletal health conditions such as rickets and there are fears that its effect on general immune systems has been overlooked. On 3 June the Scottish government specifically recommended people from minority ethnic groups with dark skin to take the supplement.

HOW DARE YOU doubt the Daily Mail reporting!Originally posted by AtW View PostIt’s BS for sure for vit D having such massive effect - would have been plenty of confirmations if it was true, it’s not like levels of vit D hard to measure everywhere
I am taking it as supplement but no way difference is that large - faked Web photo most likely in the first place or bad study of 780 Indonesian patients
