    Bruce was dead more than 150 years before Columbus discovered America.
    And racism was invented by Columbus?

    Not so. The Aztecs and other civilized societies captured and enslaved hordes of natives and opponents :

    Anyway, if the graffiti has any value this is probably to do with Bruce being a crusader which is really 'problematic' for the SNP as they have been milking this guy for decades.

    I've never been there, but I believe it is a large statue.

    But, it's kind of went from 80ft letters to, 12 font on these 2 images.

    Who cares? America isn't named after him. Places were not generally named for the first names of discoverers or founders of those places, if they were, Rhodesia would have been called 'Cecilia' (old joke recycled from a sixth-form skit from the late 80's). Only surnames were applied to newly discovered territories (or newly discovered by Europeans) which is why we have Tasmania, Van Diemen's Land and a whole swathe of other places named from the surname of the 'discoverer'.

    Columbus was Italian, discover means to uncover.

    (I thought some of you English knew about latin.}

    You mean some naughty people are using the BLM movement for their own ends? I'm shocked.
