Interestingly, if you arrived before yesterday, even directly from Italy, you are being advised to behave as normal and don't self isolate if you feel fine. This UK advice is stupid. I am reliably advised from a friend that the flight to Italy 6 days ago had 21 people on board. Their flight back from Rome was full and was mostly Italians and British-Italians who are most likely following the UK gov advice and going about their daily lives or business as normal back here in the UK.

People couldn't fly from Milan and were flying from Rome instead to keep costs low.

In general? Yes. But PC would probably find a clever wheeze involving his third-cousin's ex who works at the JC+.

It would have to be solitary, on humanitarian grounds.

I've started this week with a large Bank who are looking at their business continuity plans just now in terms of which people can work from home in which country - their remote access system seems to have been scaled to cope with such circumstances (and a gradual move to home-workers anyway).

So it should all be billable for me which is the main thing.

Did I read the OP right that timesheets won't be approved? Are they on parchments and signed using quills?

I am at a client in London.

The company is rather small and it has been split in to 2. Alternate days of working from home. My work is extremely niche so it doesn't really impact me as I don't have much interaction with the rest of the company.

Just thankful not having to do the commute every day
