I thought this meant on a private carriage but the video seems to show her hopping off with other passengers.

It's one of the enduring mysteries of the rail franchising system that the procurement requirements don't specify the ability to couple an 1890's gin palace royal carriage to modern rolling stock.

Well she doesn't have a private train, but probably enough entourage she ends up with a private carriage even if not officially. Yes she does catch the London to KL train each crimbo to go and stay at Sandringham.

Had a client not far from KL. Hell's bells, it's like they have something against motorways over there, you're lucky to find a dual carriageway. The long slog down the A17 where you're either stuck behind a truck or tractor won't be missed, though I did once set a personal high score of a 20 odd car overtake on one of the long stretches.

She caught the 10:42 GMT Great Northern service from London's King's Cross and was later pictured stepping off the train at King's Lynn railway station.
