Beautiful clear waters, lovely sunshine, friendly people, great food - not to mention some local ladies who (if I was single) were way out of my league

Hope to go back there soon...

55ft - nice. very stable and with a decent turn of speed. So you stayed north - probably out to Kaprije, Kakan and Zirje. Lots of deserted bays to weigh anchor.
We normally go for 36ft, although the last time I was sailing was around the Virgin Islands on a 42ft cat...

Cat sailing I could definitely do again, you can set your beer down on a table, hoist the spinnaker and be doing 20kts without spilling a drop.

I have been. For my tenth birthday.

I think it has changed a bit. Not least by Yugoslavia breaking up.

Anyone got any particular recommendations as well as what is on t'internet?
Particularly looking for good pubs, family restaurants serving local dishes and being a northerner, I don't want to break the bank....
Some good casino's with big tournaments on and regular high stake cash tables so take your shades and baseball flat cap.
