Ah right. Well they had code words and weren't taken too seriously (although they did evacuate usually) unless the code word was used. My missus and her ex used to run the Atlantic Tower in Liverpool, they would get 1 call a month. They eventually tracked it down to a Union bod.

By interest I mean the number of bomb hoaxes - that used to happen a lot in the 70s.

What always puzzled me in the 1970s was quite what interested the IRA in Rochdale's ABC Cinema!

Not understanding my reply is not the same as me not answering the question.

By your logic then, the entirety of the video's arguments for boomers / Gen Xers is also not relevant for you, so why bother posting it?

You're all over the place. If it doesn't matter where in the world you are, then the examples I gave are valid.

If it does matter whether or not those conflicts impact the UK, then apply your same logic to the other examples he gives (eg Rodney King, etc).

    You (and he) are inconsistent.

    Because it’s an American-centric video?

Now apply your analysis above to the other generations and impacts listed in the video.

That was my point. He’s picked out various wars and hardships that other generations have endured, but fails to list those between 1980 and 2000. Falklands, Beirut, Iran-Contra, first Gulf War, etc.

    Flawed analysis to start with.

NAT aspires to be like scooter. If he suffers some kind of serious head injury he will be halfway there.
