I wonder why other countries are more innovative than the UK? Well I reckon any country that has people like shaunbhoy and his ilk are unable to innovate as they're holding them back with their Luddite attitudes and general, well to put it politely, thickness..

Nearly every member of the EU is higher in the "innovation" rankings than the UK. I reckon there's someone like Grayling in charge of the bribes, he got all confused and bought a panda instead.

Like the CUK mod elections then. The ones who admin has the most bribe material on get stuck with the job or admin goes public.

"The Bloomberg Innovation Index is an annual ranking of how innovative countries are. It is based on six criteria: research and development, manufacturing, high-tech companies, post-secondary education, research personnel, and patents. Bloomberg uses data from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the OECD and UNESCO to compile the ranking"

Based on all that they then publish the Bloomberg opinion on which countries are the most innovative.

The annual Bloomberg Innovation Index, in its seventh year, analyzes dozens of criteria using seven metrics, including research and development spending, manufacturing capability and concentration of high-tech public companies.
