the current Q7 will be traded in, and the new depreciated over 5 years against Plan B
the current Q7 has a trade in value of about 20 grand
so trading in the existing one gives that's about 70k incl Vat, take off the Vat and we've got a 90k car for 55k, pay down half in cash and half on finance over 5 years and it works nicely, by taking the 5 years finance, the insurance payments are factored in to the finance deal
not bad and then of course in five years we trade it in again

the incredible Quattro system combined with the height adjustable air suspension (which we have on the current one) is useful for getting out of trouble
the extra power 435hp would be useful spare capacity for when needed in special situations - just gives you more options for over taking in spaces where lower spec engines wouldn't have enough room/time
all in all, it's safer isn't it and that's what you are paying for
