The dark side....
Current gig coming to an end. Warchest bursting at 6 figures, mortgage £300 a month, happy days financially.
I cant seem to land contracts with my skill-set locally, they all seem to be in central London due to the sectors I have ended up in recently.
However, there are a few local permie roles - around the £50K mark. Against around £400-£500 day rate.
Has anyone else considered moving to permie for local nice easy life, 7 hour days with flex against the hassle of long distance working living out of suitcases, and what did you decide, and why?
Been contracting for around 10 years now and kind of on the fence about carrying on, or not..... Maybe I should buy a sports car instead and carry on....Tags: None
