hello, i am new in contracting and baffled with a question: " what salary can i pay myself as a director?"
apparently the answer is: what ever you want, but i was thinking of a safe strategy to pay enough to be on a safe side and not to much to optimize the financials.

can you help me with this difficult task,
i was planning to pay myself 8300 but it is a way below minimal rate in London and i am afraid it will incur unwanted attention, should i pay myself 24000 or it is fine to go with 8300?
