I'm sure of it.

My niece, a lovely, bright, sensitive girl is studying medicine. When I read the book I wanted to cry for her.

My niece qualified a couple of years ago. I must ask her how she is.

Also read it.

I suspect exaggerated for comic effect, and one or two quips went beyond tasteless, but yes, does give a shocking account of the life of a junior doctor. My niece, a lovely, bright, sensitive girl is studying medicine. When I read the book I wanted to cry for her.

Book by Adam Kay about his experience as a junior doctor (from House Officer to Senior Registrar) in the NHS.

Thoroughly recommend it. If you're an emotional sort, don't read it in public...
