Ahem. 12th March.Originally posted by sasguru View PostThis is today's front page Times article:
The Times: Trump blames China for wrecking Korea summit
The key phrase is "However, when American officials arrived in Singapore to make the arrangements, there was no sign of any North Koreans. “We were stood up,” a White House official said last night."
Playing him like a fiddle.

Old technique: pretend sincerity while having no intention of scrapping anything, blame other party when it doens't work. String things along.

I predict Trump says something wildly inappropriate, Kim uses it as an excuse to storm out blaming the US, "we acted in good faith and look how they treat us" etc and looking to the South as an ally as a step to removing US influence.

NK says that the solution to the diplomatic crisis is... unification with the South.

Yes and to keep the flow of taxpayer money into the MIC nice and healthy. Apparently the US economy depends on it.Originally posted by WTFH View PostIs that just to get the number of American soldiers killed this year above the number of American children?
(up to 18/05 it was 13 soldiers in combat vs 26 students - although there was another shooting yesterday so that may have changed)

I think proxy is the only option, they can't have missiles hitting the US homeland so proxy 1000's of miles away seems to be the preferred option. They (we) are already in proxy vs Russia in Syria and Ukraine so NK will be proxy vs China.Originally posted by Zigenare View Post***** the proxy, go straight for Russia.
It will be interesting to see just how overstretched they (we) can get around the world. Cue Trump ordering NATO countries to start contributing more to pay for America's wars - maybe even commit soldiers and resources as well.Last edited by Jog On; 25 May 2018, 10:55.

I was hoping they would meet - compare the size of their nuclear buttons(or other bits) then let the world get on in peace.
