PM sent. Excellent accountancy firm who are more than familiar with IT contractors. Only 18 miles from you and not those danbro shysters either.

Thanks everyone.
Hi,
Thanks for your advice, everyone. I've decided to go with a good specialist accountant who might be anywhere in the UK. I guess if thats Ok for everyone here then surely it must not be that necessary to use a local accountant.

I assume you've read the guides on this site and had a good look through www.ipse.co.uk?

I'm an IT contractor an accountant who has got experience with IT contractors and tax advice around them would be preferred. I know that most people say that you can get an accountant from anyplace in the UK but I'd prefer to see someone local as it means I can meet up with them easily.
Thanks in advance.
Have you read the guilds about tax advice?
What questions do you have we can answer them here?

You don't need to meet up with your accountant in this day and age.
