I've just spoken with PCG and they have never had an 'introducer' relationship with Cater Allen, does anyone know of anyone else who does ?
(I've spent a week arguing with Natwest, am now tired and grumpy)

Cater Allen.
Coming up to 8 years with them now and not one single problem. Very competitive interest rates and no "My name is Muhammad Abdul-Fataah Waseem but you can call me Mike. How is the weather sitting? Gary Lineker!" nonsense...

I have opened three business acounts with HSBC in the last fives, and they have always been effiecient.
But then i could just have been lucky.
They have some penalty system whereby they have to pay you 20 quid or something if they are slow.

UK phone number? Does it work from abroad (some don't). Costly from abroad?

0800 number in the UK, they have a dedicated number for over seas calls. Not sure about costs for it, depends on the local phone charges I guess.

Setup account start to finish in a week.
Never any cock-up.
Free and pays interest on your balance that puts most high street rates to shame.

I know I know
I have all my other banking with Natwest and was silly enough to try and open a business account. Was told it would be 24 hours, papers posted last Wednesday from my accountant to them, as of Friday pm, still haven't arrived. And am now told they will take four days to open the account (obviously because keying in a few details is very difficult).
What fun.
