Again two points, sorry if you single cell bremainers have difficulty.
Her publicly stated intention was to give parliament control of the process, however far from providing clarity, it has now become as clear as mud and there are as many opinions about what Brexit means as there are cabinet ministers. If the government hadn't been challenged they would have simply railroaded Brexit through, using royal perogative whilest pointing to the referendum and presenting a fait a complit to parliament. After the government defeat in the Supreme Court May herself said she was calling the GE because of opposition in parliament to get clarity and failed. So it does indeed look like she has very successfully derailed Brexit. Most Remoaners are very grateful indeed to Gina Miller, and consider her court case to be a major victory that heralded the beginning of the end of Brexit.

Not that the snowflake generation would ever realise that. If they can't download an instantaneous app to fix it whilst their friendly barista prepares their latte for them, it very quickly descends into tantrum time!

    End of that point.

    see two different points.
One of the most disturbing consequences of the referendum has been the insistence that the Government is entitled to exercise its powers in relation to Brexit without involving Parliament. In a constitution whose central principle is Parliamentary sovereignty, such claims must be viewed with deep suspicion. Human rights are already precarious if left in the hands of a sovereign Parliament without a written constitution, especially where, as in the UK, the legislature is heavily dominated by the executive. Even more so if Parliament can be sidestepped.

She did indeed attempt to derail the process of the executive illegally ignoring parliamentary sovereignty. And succeeded.

On the contrary I wish they'd get on with it. But of course in a whole year none of the Brexiters has come up with any credible plan.
Walk out of negotiations I say, let's give the Brexiters what they want ... a hard Brexit

    Just saying...
This must be the most stupid and ignorant post on CUK.

Obviously you don't understand what is democracy. If you think that democracy means the a simple majority of the electorate can completely ignore the remainder of the electorate then, that is what Mugabe does.

The "we have won, therefore; we can do what we like" attitude is what happened in Egypt when the Muslim Brotherhood won the election.
The winners when about smashing up bars and restaurants because they sold alcohol. They were threatening women who would not cover themselves up.

Democracy means taking in consideration all of the electorate and indeed the silent majority.
