2% of your UK tax paid? Filthy lucre from BTL doesn't count.

That pro-Brexit rag the Daily Express ran a poll last week (Tuesday to Thursday with 96,000 responses) but pulled it after it finished as they didn't like the results:

Have 4 clients at the minute. Positively useless. If you can see beyond your spite for a minute, I don't talk down the UK, I talk down the idiots in charge of it. I'm much in favour as is the next person for seeing the UK regain confidence. But watching the country you grew up in blaming everyone and everything under the sun is very unattractive and redundant. Perhaps the only way the UK will get on its feet is when it has ran out of others to blame.

Being go between clients here and companies at home is not something easily replaced. You mock and jest as much as you like, it requires someone with knowledge of the local area and language in both countries as well as the engineering niche I specialise. There's not exactly a queue at the door.

The relationships between EU countries are complex and mature. The stewards of the UK only demonstrate incompetence with supporters like yourself only too keen to rally behind them.

Why would Germany want to invade and gain an extra 65 million useless dicks, they have enough of their own...

Try and explain this to people and the level of networking is over their head. Pointless.

The government said it made the offer in the “expectation that the EU would offer reciprocal treatment for UK nationals resident in its member states”.
