No, no specific breed. Is just needs to be inappropriately large for a narrow boat. Two of course are better than one.

I don’t advise a haircut, man. All hairdressers are in the employment of the government. Hairs are your aerials. They pick up signals from the cosmos, and transmit them directly into the brain. This is the reason bald-headed men are uptight.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostYou don't need to own a boat, or a dog, to align yourself with the cosmos, man

Don't tell AtWOriginally posted by NigelJK View PostLook into getting a share. Pay for the 'share' and then it's maintenance costs on top. Add in Fuel etc when you take the boat out. If you don't like sell the share. We currently have a share for sale in our boat:
Our Narrowboat
Others are available but if you wish to keep costs to a minimum buy one on a boat older than 15 years as the share price won't drop any lower.
It can be tricky when on a contract to let the client know you can't move your unavailable date.

You would of course need to stop washing, grow dreadlocks and get a dog.
My other top tip is if a boat looks like it might sink, it quite possibly will.

Look into getting a share. Pay for the 'share' and then it's maintenance costs on top. Add in Fuel etc when you take the boat out. If you don't like sell the share. We currently have a share for sale in our boat:I should really hire one for a week. The problem there is that the configuration of a hire boat isn't to my taste & I'd be going for something decked out in a more traditional style with woodburners etc
