Banning diesel cars I just don't get. Diesel cars (diesel engines) are not the problem. It is Diesel fuel that is the problem. A Diesel engine will run on just about any combustible fuel, that includes vegetable oil or as it is sometimes called bio diesel. Using diodiesel removes nitrogen dioxide from the equation. Use biodiesel and a diesel engine will be cleaner than any petrol engine.

Therefore the problem lies with the oil companies. They should be encouraged to produce better biodiesel fuels. The government and media should stop jumping on the motorists back and tackle the problem at its source.

Oh I forgot the can't /won't because that is too difficult when there is such an easy target like joe public.

Remind me again why do we vote for these numpties?

    Tories. Strong and stable.

    Sorted.
Strong = we're going to do what we want and not listen to anyone.
Stable = once we get into power we're never leaving.

    So have I.

I noticed I my constituency has Labour and UKIP candidates who don't live anywhere near me - I hope they lose their deposits.
