Could have been a lot worse for the company.
While they could still get into some trouble, if the response had ticked any of the discrimination boxes (gender, age, sexuality etc.) - they'd be screwed.
Take out the emotive language - and it could be a reasonable appraisal of her CV - which is that they find it difficult to assess how suitable she would be from the CV, due to the number of "odd" elements that they wouldn't expect to see.
