Well I've been through all the clearance sales and bagged myself a good amount of bargains so the juice mixing will have to wait. Tanks are going cheaper new in the shops than they are on ebay at the moment. Strange times.

Thanks for the heads-up. This is ridiculous. It'll soon be less hassle to smoke again. I suppose that's the idea :-(

Anyone stocking up on tanks and plenty of 30mg bottles in the sales? Going down the DIY liquids route? Missed out on the Heisenberg sales so might have to look in to making my own.

What about coils. Anyone think it would be a good idea to stock up on coils or they will be in good supply for the foresable future?

Make your own - it's a piece of cake - starter kits at makemyvape and a calculator for the nicotine content
Get a rebuildable atomiser (like https://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co...-baby-rba.html), some cotton bacon and a few bits of wire and bingo!

Already got a kit on its way and some Vampire Vapes Heisenberg concentrate at home! Tried RBAs with a Cloud Beast and a Baby Beast but I'm not really in to clouds. OK for a bit of fun at home but no good out in public.

The E Cig wholesale market is in a bit of a mess at the moment with the number of the bigger tank/huge battery models being withdrawn. The bigger glass liquid bottles being withdrawn will only be a pain for the big tank users as the smaller coil based tanks used the 10ml thin liquid bottles anyway. The big 50 ohm tanks require the thicker liquid so both may disappear from the market.

Somewhere in the depths of the regs is something about the action of filling the tank being 'completely spill proof' which I don't think even the manufacturers know how to handle.

The wholesale suppliers I use don't seem to have much of a clue what's going on hardware wise. New stocks of liquid are appearing with the 'health warning' on, slowly, as older stocks are replaced.

Part of the (spurious) argument is because teenagers are using them and as the long term health effects aren't known it's dangerous. However it is clear the legislators have never been teenagers as they would be aware teenagers try everything....

And they're even more likely to try something if it's illegal.

Not really. We've known the chemicals and gases in them from the off, just chose to ignore it. They've also been around a very long time. We do know the long term affects better now I agree. There are no nasty chems bar the nicotine in vaping. PC and VG which is the base is on the FDA safe list, as are many of the flavours used. Nicotine so so and so on.

They didn't introduce such draconian rules for fags within a year of them coming out.



None of the rules will deter them though which is why they are so odd. It doesn't affect the smaller vape pens and cheaper end. My lad admitted to trying vaping and I must admit I wasn't too sure how to react. Rather that than finding a half smoked pack of Malboro reds in his pocket.

And yes, making a fuss and clamping down is sure way to persuade them to give it a go.

Big lobbying money pure and simple + threatened tax take, nothing to do with any kind of safety.

Anyone that thinks anything else is purely deluded IMO.
