    Indeed we got Exadata 3 years ago though I don't think anyone tuned it. Definitely didn't tune the EIM team.

    won't tell you which version of Siebel we are on though

    Decluttering is good for the spirit - it's very liberating and gets you back oodles of space.

    I've become a convert. My last shelf of technical books is on the way out. Heart-breaking because some are brand new never opened the front cover. But today I put 3 bookcases up-for-sale having ditched no end of books and DVDs.

    Got rid of tons of wires, cables, HDDs, adapters and the like too. I can no longer connect an IDE HDD drive to my computer or read 5.25" floppies or use a parallel printer.

    But it feels really good

    Old SAP books? Put them on the India equivalent of eBay. Given the number of India SAP "consultants" that seem to be stuck with the technologies SAP was using in the late 90's, I'm sure they'll be snapped up in no time.
