    Car successfully collected from the parentals. Despite arranging and paying for exhaust fitting and bodywork repairs, checking the oil and water levels, and giving it a wash and wax, I was disappointed that my Dad didn't bother checking the tyre pressures. Shocking.

    Some bulbs planted. Cuttings collected from my Mum who only had 24 hours notice to go through her various works in progress to select stuff I'm less likely to kill.

    Parents, eh. Who'd be one?

    don't I used to work with a guy 20 years ago that had ~ 10GB on DVDs which was impressive at the time.

    rip CD to nas (I love D-link sharecenter cheap £50 + drives 2TB £60 each & performant with loads of apps) . Use virtual cd to mount. Back up to a spare USB HDD, put CD in loft.

    this weekend will mainly be using untested ETL routines to upload 5gb of untested data for reasons I've never grasped.
