I brought a 3 litre and 5 litre bottle but I want to measure 4 litres
Fill the 5 litre bottle and then tip half of it out (measure by the diagonal being flat when pouring). Fill the 3 litre bottle and pour half into the 5 litre bottle (measure the same way)?
Or fill the 3 litre bottle and pour it in the 5 litre. Then do it again. The 3 litre bottle will be left with a litre. Empty the 5 litre bottle and then pour the 1 litre from the 3 litre bottle in. Fill the 3 litre bottle and pour that into the 5 liter bottle too.
