You're confusing pride with "another reason to have a pop at Scooter/Scots in general". HTHBIDIOriginally posted by northernladyuk View PostIt's really encouraging that so many of you can find in sport a feeling of national pride, in these difficult times.

Nicola Sturgeon has called for a replay of the Calcutta Cup game because a majority of Scots do not accept the result.

Hey, we threw 'em a bone. Proves what a lovely neighbour we are, rather than a nasty imperialist evil overlord. It must have worked, I watched Marr, Peston & Neil today, and no sign of Wee Jimmie Krankie...Originally posted by malvolio View PostHardly "crushing" if you let through four fairly simple tries from a much-weakened opposition though, is it...

I was wondering what the Welsh contingent would find to whine about. Wales is such as great country - completely wasted on the Welsh.Originally posted by malvolio View PostHardly "crushing" if you let through four fairly simple tries from a much-weakened opposition though, is it...

Let's hope my Brexit forecasts aren't as prescient, eh?Originally posted by sasguru View PostI thought they played well in the second half once they had figured out what was going on. And no doubt got a rocket from Eddie

I think Scotland have shot their load, they're not going to be much of a challenge. Famous last words?

That'll be real thenOriginally posted by jamesbrown View PostI tend to agree, but I'm looking forward to the Scotland match, because another hallmark of a good team is the ability to change gears, and no amount of coaching can substitute for that - needs real depth.
