    Because Wenger stopped being a manager years ago to become a businessman. Arsenal had a massive hole in their finances after their move to the Emirates stadium but he got them back in the black and continues to make Arsenal a money-spinner for the American owners, which the only thing they're interested in.

    The moment he starts losing them money he'd be out on his ear.

    Wenger has delivered CL football consistently for what twenty years? The shareholders love him.

    Trophies don't matter, he is the Ultimate product of "Modern Football", rarely spends the big bucks; brings the money in.

    He is, for all intents and purposes: Arkwright.
