    Clickbait mate. They get paid for serving the ads on their page. The content that made you click is either immaterial or, in some cases, not there at all

    Usually from someone quite earnest and well-meaning, I often see videos on my timeline, where the text says something like "Facebook keeps deleting this video. It's important to keep it online.".

    Is it just me, or does this strike anyone else as a marketing gimmick to get people to copy the video and spread it as far as possible before "the man" suppresses it, and that the video was probably never taken down?
