There was a better writeup in the Mirror: Mum 'sent £325 invoice to friend after daughter came home with pen on Italian leather shoes' - Mirror Online
However, question marks about the story have immediately been raised with critics suggesting the mum's outrage may not be entirely genuine.
Sarah Bryan, a self-described "designer, actress, blogger and public figure" has made headlines in the past.
Last year, she claimed to have made a dress from pubic hair after appealing on social media for donations.
This was after making a dress entirely from Skittles which she wanted Lady Gaga to wear, in 2014.
And Sarah later appeared on Channel 5's Tattoo Disasters to get rid of the word '****' which she had inked on her shoulder when she was 16.
…
But others were more dubious about the shoe invoice tale.
Charlotte Kennedy-France wrote: "Making a fool of your daughter though! Class A parent.
"We all know your PR company makes this crap up."
The Mirror contacted Sarah Bryan but she declined to comment any further.
