Each card issuer uses one of the 3 agencies and the other 2 do not hold details on what the others hold. Barclays likely uses Experian.

I am trying to find 2 old credit cards details from 2002 with (halifax & barclays) that I might have had with PPI .... I understand the banks wont volunteer such details to reduce my chance of a claim
How to reclaim mis-sold PPI for free

They are not volunteering it, you've asked to see it so they should respond to your request.
Dunno about time limits though.
EDIT : Looking in to it a little bit it doesn't matter what the credit agency has. If the lender hasn't kept your records past 6 years there isn't a lot you can really do. That's 6 years after the account was closed of course. Can get complicated going back more than 6 years it seems.Last edited by northernladuk; 8 November 2016, 14:52.

Hope you have some very happy memories from accumulating that £40k!
Looks like dealers have got into the act too
Drug dealer Mark Slender jailed for selling cocaine, dealer took credit card payments | UK | News | Daily Express
Still at least his gear was "pure"
The police seized 56grams of cocaine, worth £5,800, and ranging in purity from 88% to 93%. It was one of the highest purity cocaine seizures in Gloucestershire in recent times.Last edited by MrMarkyMark; 8 November 2016, 14:31.

So, I am stressing about the credit check/screening done by the Big4 for, will I fail due to DMP and missed card payments? My research shows the standard checks only mine public records and would get stuck on CCJs. DMP does not feature on their radars.
I want to quit my current role and get back to the UK, but stress a little about this issue.
Thanks for any insight shared.

It could be down to the financial institution not happy with that amount of debt and how they see the risk of you being bribed.
But if you get the all clear, then all is good, however it may not feature on their radar now but these things can be found out further down the line.
