With reports elsewhere on here of hundreds applying for each role I too am thinking money is no longer a driver, and quality of life is. Time to do something else.

So thinking of setting up an agency website full of fake job and contract opportunities and charge the applicants a fiver to jump the queue. Only new plazzy fivers with those serial numbers that mugs will pay hundreds for on ebay of course.

I won't even require 2 references to get ahead of the competition.

Just do what others do where they undersell themselves by tailoring the CV for the specific role. If your skill set covers it then it's not really lying.
