It makes perfect sense from a price differentiation perspective. Some people will pay £800 and some more. Those who will only pay £800 are price sensitive and will find the cheaper price.Originally posted by fullyautomatix View PostWas booking BA recently. Wanted to fly BA one way and fly back Emirates, various reasons for doing this.
Return flight was around 800£ and one way was 1600£.
God only knows who programmed this in, was it SASGuru?
Someone suggested this was to discourage one way flights, if so, that is one hell of a way of doing it.

When I fly to Washington, business class is like that. i always make sure I get the window on one of those. Off to Denver shortly and will make sure I don't get a place in the 3...Originally posted by barrydidit View PostThey might have done away with it now cos i can't find the configuration on their website, but I flew Lufthansa from Chennai to Frankfurt and was in the middle of 3 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration in business class. Absolutely hellish, but probably room for MF's 'stature'. Next time I went on an Emirates A380 which was a totally different experience

I'm considering paying for the upgrade because I'm saving the points to fly The Wife (tm) business class to Japan next year for a ski trip.
