We know it was the French because they managed to hit a village, if it was the Americans they would have bombed the brits or French.

How can we be sure that the reports of numbers of civilians killed are accurate?
How can we be sure it was French bombers?
How do we know that the mission wasn't planned by the US?
How do we know that the mission was planned after the Nice attacks, and in direct response?
Are the photos genuine?

For all we know, these people were killed by ISIS fighters.

Unfortunately, this struggle is one of propaganda as much as weaponry. ISIS have been known to be rather cavalier with the truth.

No links yet, but on SW radio, the French are now saying the village was bombed by mistake.

My guess is that the coordinates were given by the clueless US operatives.

Judging by how difficult it appears to be to get tools in France, you're probly right.

France is full of tools. They're usually striking or setting fire to sheep.
