You've wasted my time proving you wrong. Are you smart enough to be a contractor, I doubt it.

The Swiss merely came up with their own take on it, to sell to tourists some 50 years after the Germans started really working with them. The quote from the Harry Lime character clearly indicates that he (and by extension, Graham Greene) considered Switzerland to be the home of the cuckoo clock. And it isn't.
Nasty nasty feckers these Swiss.

http://gunssavelives.net/blog/fbi-re...mass-shooting/
...and the (completely unbiased) "Guns Save Lives" website claim that only 30 people a year die in mass shootings.
Their claim on the number of lightning strikes is not to the NOAA, but to Wikipedia. Um, why not use the actual source? Oh yes, because it disagrees with what you say.
Then there's the link to the FBI report:
https://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/201...-2000-and-2013
That report is about Active Shooter Incidents, not "mass shootings" or "mass killings". Here is how the FBI define active shooter incidents in their report:
Active shooter is a term used by law enforcement to describe a situation in which a shooting is in progress and an aspect of the crime may affect the protocols used in responding to and reacting at the scene of the incident. Unlike a defined crime, such as a murder or mass killing, the active aspect inherently implies that both law enforcement personnel and citizens have the potential to affect the outcome of the event based upon their responses.
This is not a study of mass killings or mass shootings, but rather a study of a specific type of shooting situation law enforcement and the public may face. Incidents identified in this study do not encompass all gun-related situations; therefore caution should be taken when using this information without placing it in context. Specifically, shootings that resulted from gang or drug violence—pervasive, long-tracked, criminal acts that could also affect the public— were not included in this study. In addition, other gun-related shootings were not included when those incidents appeared generally not to have put others in peril (e.g., the accidental discharge of a rearm in a school building or a person who chose to publicly commit suicide in a parking lot). The study does not encompass all mass killings or shootings in public places and therefore is limited in its scope.
So, the headline in Guns Saves Lives is fictitious, i.e. false, a lie and the kind of thing Reason.com (and other Koch sponsored propaganda outlets like to spew to the unintelligent)

Originally posted by WTFH View PostSo, according to your friends at the gun lobby, nobody died in 2015/2016 in mass shootings.
E.g. was the massacre in Orlando a mass shooting or not? If it was, then there should be at least 450 people struck by lightning according to your statistics. But there are under 100, so your stats are FALSE. Prove me wrong.
Tell me how is it that you think murder is something to be laughed at, are you sick or just stupid?

Choose Your Own Mass Shooting Statistics - Hit & Run : Reason.com
What I do find amusing at is your volte face from demanding credible sources from me over Islamic terrorism statistics to you quoting crime definitions and data from a subreddit forum.
