The Swiss merely came up with their own take on it, to sell to tourists some 50 years after the Germans started really working with them. The quote from the Harry Lime character clearly indicates that he (and by extension, Graham Greene) considered Switzerland to be the home of the cuckoo clock. And it isn't.

So what you're admitting to is, that not only did the Swiss fence Nazi gold, they also started fencing their cuckoo clocks as well.

Their claim on the number of lightning strikes is not to the NOAA, but to Wikipedia. Um, why not use the actual source? Oh yes, because it disagrees with what you say.

That report is about Active Shooter Incidents, not "mass shootings" or "mass killings". Here is how the FBI define active shooter incidents in their report:
