That's probably not too difficult if you have only promised one thing, and then suckled at the public teat for 15 years trying to deliver it.
He's a one-trick pony that, admittedly, has delivered that one thing, but let's not pretend he's a real politician. Real politicians have to balance delivering on a multitude of subjects and mandates.
He has not delivered. He won a battle. But no politician will ever invoke article 50.

The majority of the government and opposition are Remainers therefore he needs to stay put and hold them to account.
Most of the country are remainers. But they really hate the government which is seen as out of touch. Where there is increasing inequality. Of course the immigrants get the blame, which is only partially justified.

And how exactly would he do that as leader of a party with one MP, who thinks he's an idiot.
Farage is completely unaccountable for anything he does or says and has no way of actually delivering on any promises he makes. Nor will he ever be in a position to do so as he is essentially un-electable. If he wasn't he'd be an MP by now.
