    after EDF pull out of building power stations for us
    They'd have to start first. There's a thought why not build something we actually need instead of some poncy lifestyle 'choice'.

    I'd stay away from anything physically retail. It's high effort/cost/risk.

    I would say look at emerging tech that can be used on a mobile phone/device to provide a service. Recent products like home automation are a good example, being able to control things in your home through a phone app.

    Lady Bacchus and I thought about a speciality-tea place with books/newspapers available on kindles or tablets. Didn't get far enough to working out the licencing implications but I'm sure it could be arranged.

    No point in trying to compete with the big coffee shops, do coffee, sure, but concentrate on fine blend tea.

    So one small leap was all I could find. They were a private company set up in early 2000 with 250k. Star trite bought them and sold them last year. Ten million turnover.

    That was the model I was looking at.
