We still pay for babysitters - although the twins are 14..
Its partly to have someone more sensible in the house but also to referee and cause maximum embarrassment for them when they go to Rangers (our default babysitter is 18 and also goes)....

You can always outsource it to Bobcare. They'll send you a 'qualified' baby sitter for the half the price of your current one, and she'll always do the needful with your kid
