It was all leftie, gay boy twaddle and deeply offensive to muslims.

Russell 'T' is a well documented woofter....by his own admission in many tv interviews.

Agree, I was expecting more, but it was OK.
Although, the whole thing felt like an episode of Spooks.
There also had to be the mandatory gay bits, (the girl on girl cell bit was OK, but the bloke saying to that other bloke..."I'm havin you!" ), but that's what is expected in any show penned by Russell 'T' Davis.
I dunno, it all felt a bit ploddy...and never needed 45 minutes to setup that woman joining the team.
Also, they wasted loads they could've done with that weevil thing.
The second episode about that 'alien' wanting to have sex with anyone...was a direct rip off of 'Species'

I didn’t think Torchwood was that good. I was hoping it would be, but the characters were too one-dimensional and the whole thing plodded along with the pace of a Holby episode. It needs to pick up quickly in the next few episodes.

Originally posted by SallyAnneI agree with Baffoon - it was OK, but I was expectin more. The first episode was very dul -we really didn't need a whole episode on her joining the team - we knew she was going to anyway.
The second episode picked up, but I was just a little disappointed with it.
Captain jack was great, but the rest of the team just aren't believable.
And I'm sick of everythig being Welsh at the minute. Churchy can stay, but everyone else Welsh needs to take it down a notch or too.
Dammit, where is Fleetwood when you need him.

She knows you know as she actually knows John Barrowman. I think it's part of the appeal. Sensitive man in touch with his feminine side and all that.
What a lots of 'knows'
