Be a good idea to understand how dividends work then seems you are legally responsible for the finances of your company.

hi - Given the dividend tax changes in 2016, and the fact that my wife just quit her job ( last month). I've exhausted my share of Dividends withdrawal this year.

Since dividends are always to be declared to all the share holders - Adding my wife now, can i take dividends in her name ?

How does this work ?

I didn't say if you were polyamorous you had multiple wives I said if you WERE polyamorous AND had a wife +1 then she would be treated as a single person for benefits.

How does this work ?

NO!

Any dividend in her name is her money not yours.

Also if you add her now you would still need to pay yourself any dividend at the corresponding rate.
