So you've ordered a book you don't think you should have been able to order, and received a book you don't think you should have been able to receive.
Sounds like you're complicit in a crime, you should get yourself down to the nearest cop shop asap and report yourself.
Or just send the publisher a fiver.

You could tell the publisher. They are the only ones that might be affected by this - well, the author too, but the publisher stands as a proxy for the author in respect of editions they publish.
As to whether a publisher will want to pick a fight with the biggest retail bookseller in the world…
