8 months, programme sized at 12 months, more likely 2 years from what I can see!

Like the idea about the hired car, but I have already done 20K miles so already well into the 15p per mile bracket!

80 miles and you need a hotel, tut tut

Real contractors would hire a cheap car for around £25/day and claim £72 (80*2*0.45) for the mileage, which after your (approx.) £20 fuel cost would put £27 tax free in your pocket each day... without having to run your own car into the ground

Offered two contracts yesterday - one close to home, the other around 80 miles away.

Roll out of current contract next Wednesday - pretty perfect.
