Yeah a lesson learnt wont use Currys or buy Samsung again not because of the fact it was faulty but how it was all dealt with. According to the engineer the fridge / freezer needed a complete re-gas freezer wouldn't go to below -10, when it supposed to go to -23.

A few years ago I made the mistake of buying a Samsung American style fridge freezer - also from Currys. In the 2 years we had it the compressor was replaced twice and also the controller. I argued with Samsung that the product was not fit for purpose and after much hassle accepted their offer of about %80 of the purchase price as a refund.

That's why you don't buy appliances from Currys.Originally posted by ELBBUBKUNPS View PostHad engineer visit who confirmed it was faulty blocked system apperently can happen if its stood around long time not used. You go there to look at them then get a similar* model from AOL.
Whose nice delivery men will put it where you want as long as it isn't an American fridge freezer.
*Same model but with different number so you can't do those price comparison things

This doesn't apply to you, but fridge freezers often only have one temperature sensor, on the fridge. If it's in the garage over winter it might not switch on.

Anyway my Bosch freezer froze things as soon as I put them in.
