Would never risk driving without a dashcam. I went around a bend that was like 150 degrees at night the other day. Crawled around quite slow because I am a sensible driver. Drunken idiot on his bike with no lights wearing all black on the wrong side of the road turning the bend. Was able to stop before I crushed him due to my slow speed.
Dashcam caught it all, and would have helped had I ran over the stupid idiot.
And that was going 5 mins up the road to the shops.
Definitely recommended.

My view is - why bother.
Some other idiot is probably just having a bad day. By challenging them you're just lowering yourself to their level.
Give it up and live another day - with your car in once piece.

Cherokee? Surprised it didn't flip over following his dodgy maneuver!

My normal response to someone behind like that is to slowly drift over the the right side of lane 3 and over the white line....
As soon as the front of their car starts getting peppered with stones and all sorts of other crud, I find they drop back fairly rapidly.

That thought crossed my mind TBH!Originally posted by I just need to test it View PostHe was probably just really angry with himself for driving a Cherokee.
As soon as someone flashes their lights aggressively at me I adjust my speed to be exactly that of the car to my left. I love a bit of sport.

He was probably just really angry with himself for driving a Cherokee.Originally posted by BolshieBastard View PostOn the motorway this morning, doing 80 in lane 3 overtaking some slower moving traffic. Some nob in a white grand cherokee is then on my bumper flashing his lights, presumably wanting me to get out the way but just where to, I dont know.
I noticed there were no blue lights on his grill and when I'd passed the last vehicle, signalled and pulled into lane 2.
The nob then draws up alongside and swerves twice in a mock gesture at forcing me off the road.
TBH, I was a bit taken aback someone would try such a thing but **** me, Im not having that. So I let him pass then overtake and draw alongside him, stand on the horn and gesture for him to pull over if he wants to show how tough he is.
Lucky for him, he makes a violent swerve off the quickly approaching off slip road.
Honestly, I could have killed the fecker for pulling that stunt. Think Im going to start carrying a iron pipe in the car from now on.

What you need are a set of cameras. Front - 170 degree range and Rear - 120.Originally posted by BolshieBastard View PostNo I didnt really look at his plate because his action really took me by surprise.
Yep, I was looking at a BlackVue dash cam only yesterday but TBH again, not sure the camera would have picked the incident up even with its 140 degree viewing angle as he did the swervy thing alongside.
