    ...none of which will help the refugee crisis as long as there are people turning up at borders and demanding to be let through to Germany, and lefties in the EU that continue to say we should just let them all in anyway. What's the point in making more rules, for people that don't want to follow them?

    Reading the real reason for the meeting is not what the Daily Fail are reporting but is in fact stronger controls for people entering the Schengen area, in other words it would apply not to the internal but to the external borders of the free-travel zone known as Schengen, of which Britain is not a part. This means that most EU citizens will be subject to long waits going through passport control when entering or leaving the Schengen zone of 26 countries and that most Europeans will be vetted for possible “terrorist” connections. This will hit the British more than others due to not being in the Schengen zone so for those of you of for your dirty weekend in Paris or booze up in Malaguf, you'll now have longer queues...
