Yes they can do that. Or they could tweak software NOT to expect weight check on few gram purchase...

Oh FFS, I thought they could not make them worse, but they managed it with paid upfront bags and the weighting thing obviously can't easily sense weight of a bag especially as the picture indicates to hang it up on handles - fooking Tory Scum
