Househunters viewing this flat could be forgiven for thinking they'd stepped into the property's entrance hall - but the cramped main room is all there is to this tiny apartment.

The flat which is now on sale in Reading measures just 5.74 metres by 1.99 metres, with residents expected to cook, eat and sleep in the same small room.
