It's not all about tax rises. Today they outlined all the "cuts" they will be making.

Cuts to subsidies "paid" to landlords (offsetting repairs against tax) - cuts to inheritance tax "benefits".

Basically, everything less than humongous tax is now viewed as a subsidy - a gift from the government - and they are cutting that subsidy.

They might be leftie nutters and fruitcakes, but there are learning how to sell that message.
