No, I'm just bored of AtW posting the exact same thing "Komrade Korbyn this... Gideon that..." about 20 times a day.

Meanwhile you're confusing the General with a serious forum. Go shove your red rosette up yer 'arrisOriginally posted by d000hg View PostYou're confusing actual socialist ideas - caring about people and a better deal for the workers - with previous socialist implementations.
Unions will love the idea of shorter days (as long as salaries remain the same).

I'm assuming the 6 hours includes a two hour mandatory lunch, complete with a mandatory 5 pints, to get you through the afternoon.

I spend so much more time on CUK when I'm in contract, to fill up my day. When I'm out of contract I'm rarely on here at all as I have better things to do!Originally posted by SimonMac View PostI don't think I could stretch out my work any more to hit the six hours

Client A would do a lot better if they stopped having so many meetings. Most of the management team spend their entire days running from one meeting to another. Actually finding someone to talk to about delivering anything is almost impossible.Originally posted by woohoo View PostEfficiency up, turnover down: Sweden experiments with six-hour working day | World news | The Guardian
I'm going to have to start charging by the day and not the hour.
I think it's a great idea, all too often people are just pissing about waiting for the clock to turn 5, their productive hours used up by mid afternoon. Unless, I'm really pushed for a deadline I reckon I have 4 quality work hours in me per day.
